What drives you, Ashton? My passion is seeing my customers succeed; aided by innovative marketing, using appropriate platforms, and by reaching their customers persuasively and with passion.
Do you have a specific approach to marketing? Every commission is different, developed around my customer’s business model, their market place, the nature of customer transactions, and the value inherent in their offering. For some clients, I will develop a marketing plan focusing on social media with offshoots aligning to web-site content. On other projects it could be assistance with developing comprehensive trade expo packaging, media channel marketing, or brand identity.
What would you say is the most important thing for a business to consider? Whether it is printed media, PR, web-content, award submissions, internal marketing, social media, vehicle graphics, letterhead or mailers, every aspect of marketing must be consistent with the business’s values, brand and aspirations. One common theme that I’m often asked to address with my customers is to help develop consistency in their marketing, a recognisable tone of voice; getting that right opens up so many channels and opportunities to display the very best that my customers can provide.
